Wouter van Wijk made a Spotify server running on Raspberry Pi using Bootable image. The software has no GUI, but you can control music playback from any browser. You will need a Spotify Premium account for this to work.

Remote control it with a nice browser-interface, or with an MPD-client.
AirTunes streaming
No need for tinkering, no need to use the Linux commandline

Requirements :
Working Raspberry Pi
Speakers/amplifier (analog or USB)
SD Card, 2GB minimum
Spotify Premium account for streaming.
