How To Disable Microsoft Office 2013 Start Screen

Whenever you open the Microsoft Office 2013, a start screen automaticlly appears with variou template styles and recent documents to choose. If you feel this screen is annoying and would like to open straight, this simple trick is for you.

Open any document go to “File” menu–>In General window look to the start up options and uncheck the box before “Show the Start screen when this application” starts.

Or

Disable Boot

Just press Win+R to open the run and type “regedit” to open the registry editor. Now navigate to
“HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\General”
Now look for the key “DisableBootToOfficeStart” and double-click it then change its value from 0 to 1.
If key is missing, you can create it.
