How To Remove Post Date From Google Search Results

When we search for a term in the Google we see results along with date in the snippet. Google Panda effect mostly works on old blog posts, it penalizes the old posts from past years like 2008, 2009.

Let me explain with one example, when you search for a “best WordPress plugin list” , you mostly ignore the search results dated with 2008, 2009 and 2010, you click on the results dated in present running year.

Snippet

Like same way Google Panda also don’t like old dated articles. It removes the old stuff from the Google, result you will face removal of your article from Google.
The best trick is to avoid date visibility in the Google search results. You can easily skip the date visibility in search results by using a simple plugin called “Date Exclusion SEO”.

Once you have installed date exclusion SEO plugin, configure under settings. You can set the date limit to number of days (90 days or 6o days). Better is to remove the data from older posts, my suggestion is 90 days.

Rich Snippets Without Date

After configuring you can preview the result using Google rich snippet testing tool. See the preview of the snippet, if date is not visible in the snippet, the plugin perfectly working.
