Simulate iOS On Windows With iPadian

We already discussed in detail of Genymotion-The Android simulator for Windows in our earlier post. Today we want to introduce iPadian – The iOS simulator for Windows. iPadian is a free iPad simulator for Windows, no installation is required to run. Download the file from the iPadian website and run, instantly it launches the iPad home screen.

The home screen of iPad carries a dock bar, power button and exit button. Like in the Windows, you can exit any open app by clicking on the exit (x) icon on the top right corner of the screen. The application is ad-supported, you will face some pop-up ads frequently.

However the Apple don’t support downloading apps from its app store, they are encrypted with Apple’s FairPlay DRM technology. The iPadian developer created a custom app store with over 300 hundred popular apps.

I tested personally on my Windows 8 machine, it worked flawlessly. I tested few apps like Facebook, Flipboard, Spotify and default email app. I also played some games like Cut the Rope and Angry Birds on iPadian.

iPadian still need to hard work to access original App Store. The feel and look of very much similar to the iOS, it won’t support touch navigation in Windows 8. If you want to try iOS on Windows iPadian is a choice at present.
