Manual Update Procedure For Samsung Galaxy Note 3 With Android KitKat 4.4.2 XXUDNA6 Firmware

Android KitKat is now rolling out Samsung Galaxy Note 3 4.4.2 XXUDNA6 update. This update is for SM-900 model with EXYNOS 5 Octa Core processor built in. It can be updated with XXUDNA6 firmware version.

Note: Please remove the memory card and take a full backup of your device or backup your contacts, SMS and your personal data separately. This update won’t alter the warranty of your device.

Before get started please enable USB Debugging mode in your device from “Settings->Applications->Development->USB Debugging”.

Required files to Download

  • KitKat 4.4.2 XXUDNA6 Firmware.
  • ODIN

1.Download the required files on your computer desktop. Open Odin in your computer and turn off your device.
2.Press and hold Home+Power+Volume down buttons to enter the device is download mode.
3.Here click on the PDA tab in the Odin and select the tar file.
4.Now click on the start to get started, the whole process will take some time to finish. After completing the update the phone will be rebooted automatically.
