Following the huge success of Canvas 4 and Canvas Turbo, Micromax launched a high range device Canvas Knight A350 now. The Smartphone is less with all advanced features and available online for sale at 19,999 INR approximately $328. The Indian Company Micromax recognized the requirements of Indian folks and launching back to back high range Smartphones. Design & Build

The official site of Micromax did not mention measurement for this phone, but It looks stylish and slim. It does not pursue Micromax Turbo, instead seems like an Apple iPhone. The canvas knight is shaped with brushed metal styling with gold bezels, and back panels come with a glass finish. According to the site, the device will be available in three colors-black, white and gold and black and gold.

User Interface

When we examined the hardware and design of the handset, we got everything brilliant, but OS disappoint us. The device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System, similar to its previous launched handset Canvas Turbo. The Smartphones lovers were expecting Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or KitKat OS this time from Micromax.

The company has packed Canvas Knight with necessary preloaded apps such as M!Security, M!Live, M!Unlock as well as some third party apps like Hike, Spuul, Opera Mini and more. Micromax has finalized a deal with Blackberry to preload BBM app on its Canvas Mobiles. You will also get M!Vault, Truecaller, GetIt pre-loaded along with traditional games such as Real Steel WRB, Where’s My Perry and Where’s My Water.

Cellular Connectivity

Micromax Canvas Knight A350 comes with Dual SIM, which supports GSM and 3G networks. The company has started to research on 4G networks so that this feature might be avail in next handset.

Display

Indian Company has already retained 5 inches full HD display in the Turbo, as well as the pixels, grow up to 443 ppi. Now, this time, the handset has full HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) IPS display. It means we can imagine more clear and sharp images in the new technology device.

Processor

The processor is the major part of every phone, so Micromax has powered this device by 2GHz MediaTek MT6592T Octa-core processor along with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with ARM Mali 450 GPU which produces better speed and quality for multimedia activity. The device has been added in the category of Gionee and Intex phone, which also selling octa core phones.

Storage

While the Canvas Turbo comes with 16 GB inbuilt storage but no option for expanding memory, here the Knight A350 is available with 32 GB onboard storage which is sufficient for Smartphone lovers. The device does not provide any other online option or external card for expanding more.

We got front camera much improved here. It is equipped with 16 MP camera on its rear side with auto focus and flash. The rear camera comes with Omni Vision’s Camera Chip sensor and next gen M8 Largan Lens, which lets you record 1080pixels videos at 30fps. The users can also access the camera with their voice.

The Smartphone has 8 MP front facing camera too for video calling support. Micromax has added “Camerazzi” app in the phone that offers some features like 360 degrees Panorama, Cinematograph, and Object Eraser.

Connectivity

The Canvas Knight is packed with all high-end connectivity features including GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and Micro USB, 3.5 mm audio jack, etc.

Battery

Now we come to the battery; the device is equipped with 2350 mAh powerful battery. The Knight phone is being expected to deliver talk time up to 7.5 hours and standby time up 175 hours. Given feature of the phone will be plus point for it.
