How To Play PC Games Using PS3 DualShock Controller

Keyboards and mouse are most common option for playing games on PC. If you are looking for a different playing experience Joystick is second option. In my childhood days I’m big fan of PS1, PS2 and PS3, these consoles are great in terms of gameplay and controlling. The combination of PC gaming with PS3 controller is a great combination. For real time strategy games PS3 DualShock controller gives a perfect accuracy and precision when compared to keyboard and mouse.

I found another difficult situation when playing games on a laptop. The touchpad of laptop is horrible while playing games. The best solution is connecting a PS3 controller to laptop. Download and install the DS3Tool on your PC and connect your PS3 controller to your PC using microUSB cable. After connecting Windows install the required drivers to recognise the device. Now go to the “Device Manager” tab on program and you’ll see connected device list. Here enable the checkbox next to your controller name and click on “Load Driver”.

Next the OS asks to verify the publisher and click on “Install this driver software anyway”. Now click on profiles tab you’ll see your controller listed, here select “Xbox 360 controller Emulator and click on the Enable button. You can verify the controller correctly connected or not by clicking on “Vibration Testing”.
