From my point of view, music is everywhere, on our laptop, desktop’s, tablets and smartphones. But unfortunately, the music clarity of most of the device is poor unless if they uses a powerful hardware.

Now I want to introduce the revolutionary open source software RuneAudio, which can turns embedded hardware into Hi-Fi music players.

RuneAudio Working

RuneAudio is one of its kind, it is a streaming player, headless player, and digital player. It uses a web interface to operate using any modern web browser. Built in PHP, Javascript and CSS with a responsive design. The company named the operating system as RuneOS. It is based on GNU Linux OS Arch Linux. Currently, certified builds are available for Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone Black, Cubox, and Udoo.

RuneAudio is a free and open source software that turns embedded hardware into Hi-Fi music players. The goal is to replace the personal computer as digital source with a dedicated, cheap, silent and low-consumption mini-PC, running a custom-build Linux distribution.

The main aim of the company is to produce best sound quality using normal hardware and easy to use for everyone. For complete details let’s take a look at RuneAudio official website.
