Search regedit in start menu

For Windows Vista, 7, 8- Open start menu, type “regedit” in search box.

Registry Editor Export

In the registry editor go to File menu->select “Export” option and under the saving window export range select All.

Registry Import Settings

For Import and Fixing Regestry

Same as above, in the registry editor file menu->select “Import” option and now select the registry file (backup made earlier). It restores your earlier settings in the registry.
