Design wise the company has manufactured with a unique design. The rear panel has a crystal polygon shapes design, which adds to the premium look and feel of the device. The build is superior when compared to the other devices at this price point. Overall there is a lot of wow factor coming to rear panel build quality.
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe features a 5.5 inch HD display (1920x1080pixel) IPS LCD with Corning Gorilla 4 Glass. The display is an FHD panel it is actually quite good. The front panel has the 5MP camera, the usual set of sensors (Ambient, Accelerometer, and Proximity) and the three capacitive buttons. The colors look pretty good and the viewing angles and the colors, so you won’t find us complaining.
As we know, it runs on 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 SoC, considering the hardware the overall performance of the device was good and we didn’t experience any lags or issues which running apps or switching between apps. Connectivity is standard too, so there were no issues here. Onboard is 32GB of storage, which is not enough for a heavy gamer and multimedia lover. For a normal usage user, the built in storage is sufficient, you can expandable up to 128GB.
Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies, around the back is a 13-megapixel snapper for shutterbugs. The interface of the camera is pretty good; the camera focuses quickly so you can go up close to your subjects and get a good clarity. Gaming seems very good; we didn’t face any jitters while playing games like Real Racing 3 and PvZ 2.
On the connectivity side, it has basic Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0, but no fancy features such as NFC. The network performance is good, and the audio quality is excellent. The battery performance is also good; it gives a full day performance with no issues.
