New Nexus 2015 Models Might Be Named As 5X and 6P

This year Google event which is scheduled on September 29 and it is also in the news for 2015 Nexus release. New rumours state that the new Nexus 2015 devices be named as 5X and 6P. This event will have a new pair of Nexus phones, one from Huawei and another one from LG.

Coming to hardware and display the 6P will be bigger with a 5.7-inch screen while the 5X will have a 5.2-inch display. The Huawei-made larger Nexus device has a fingerprint scanner at its back and likely has a 5.7-inch display up front.

The LG device is rumoured to have a 5.2-inch display while the Huawei device will sport a 5.7-inch screen. Other features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset, with 3 GB of RAM for the Huawei Nexus 6P, while the LG device will feature a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor with 3 GB of RAM and back-facing camera to have a dual-LED flash system. It is also rumoured that the LG device comes with front-facing speakers, a rear fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C with QuickCharge 2.0. The device rumoured to have a fingerprint scanner and biometric supported and add extra security to Android Pay.

Nexus 5X

We know the Nexus series are very wonderful and power packed devices and come with mostly stock Android. We are expecting the new 2015 Nexus devices 5X and 6P come with Android Marshmallow stock firmware. Google has already issued invitations to a September 29th event in San Francisco, where the official announcements of the new Nexus phones will take place. We are also expecting the Android Marshmallow will be officially announced in the event.

Coming to Android M it includes a number of important and interesting changes to the operating system, including a mobile payments system Android Pay, USB Type-C support and Google app permissions. The rumours also suggest that they will be available to pre-order just two weeks later on 13 October.
