Elephone P9000 – First Smartphone with Android 6 and Media Tek’s Helio P10 CPU

Elephone is a well known Chinese smartphone maker, who released a big list of most well-received gadgets in the previous years. Their next release is Elephone P9000. There are a big expectation for this smartphone after the leak of Elephone P9000 going to be the first Chinese smartphone to receive Android 6 Marshmallow OS and first smartphone going to use the Media Tek’s Helio P10 CPU.

There is also other rumors going on about Huawei Nexus will be the first Chinese Smartphone to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But, the Elephone sources confirming they are going to be the first in the Chinese industry to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

We already confirmed the Media Tek Helio P10 MTK6755 chip in Elephone P9000 and the features of that chip in our previous article. Help P10 MTK 6755 chipset is running with Octa-core (8 cores) with maximum clock speed up to 2.0 GHz frequency.

Elephone P9000 is going to be released in two versions – Elephone P9000 and Elephone P9000 Lite. Both the versions have all same specifications, except it varies on Memory option.

Confirmed Specification of Elephone P9000 : Android 6.0, Media Tek’s Helio P10 MTK 6755 CPU, Octa-core processor with 2.0 GHz clock speed, Mali T860MP2 GPU,  5.5 inch screen with Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels, Rear camera 21 MP, Front camera 8 MP, Battery 3000 mAh, 9 mm thickness, 170 grams weight, Dual Sim slot, Fingerprint Scanner, Connectivity – 2G, 3G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS.

Also, it is confirmed that Elephone P9000 includes an earphone in its package as a value-added addition.

The price of the Elephone P9000 is not yet released. According to sources, this smartphone will be available very soon in Pre-sale in the leading Online stores. Everyone expect the price could be reasonable.
