Pre-Requisites

  • Make sure to Backup all your Important Data’s, Apps contacts, call logs and SMS.

  • Enable USB debugging mode from Settings->Applications->Development->USB debugging.

How to Install CyanogenMod 13 Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 – Step by Step Instructions:

1.First of all Download CyanogenMod 13 Android 6.0 ROM for Galaxy Note to your PC.

2.Connect and Mount The Galaxy Note USB memory on your computer using the USB Connector.

3.Copy the downloaded Android 6.0 ROM zip file to the SD card. Make sure to put the files in the Root (Not in any of the folders).

4.Turn OFF the device and disconnect it from the USB cable.

5.Switch ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together to get into the Recovery mode.

6.When you are in ClockworkMod Recovery window, Perform a full data Wiping by selecting “wipe data/factory reset”. Use the Power button to select everything while in the Recovery Mode.

7.After this, Perform a cache wipe also, by selecting “wipe cache partition”.

Note: This is optional, but it is strongly recommended to perform a dalvik cache WipingTo avoid boot loops or any other errors. To do this, From CWM recovery window, go to ‘advanced’ and then select “wipe dalvik cache”.

9.Go back to the main recovery window and select “install zip from SD card”.

10.Now select “choose zip from sdcard”. To navigate to the Android 6.0 ROM zip file Use the Volume buttons and select it using the Power button.

11.Confirm the installation on The next screen to start the installation.

12.After Finishing the installation process, go to “+++++Go Back+++++

13.Reboot the phone by selecting “reboot system now” from the recovery menu.

Your Galaxy Note N7000 will definitely boot now and it might take some time. Because it is the first boot after OS upgrade. So, Be patient.

Now, Your Device should be running on the CyanogenMod 13 Android 6.0 Marshmallow custom ROM. Go to Settings > About phone to identify the new member.
