How to Install Android 6.0 Pure Nexus Project Marshmallow on ASUS Nexus 7
1.Download Android 6.0 Pure Nexus Project ROM for Nexus 7 to The PC.
2.Connect and mount your Nexus 7 USB memory on your PC using the USB connector.
3.Copy the downloaded Android 6.0 ROM zip file to the SD card. Make sure the file is in the SD card root folder and Not in any other folders
4.Turn OFF your tablet and disconnect it.
5.Turn ON the tablet while pressing and holding the Volume Up + Volume Down and Power buttons to get into the Bootloader Mode.
6.Follow the instructions carefully.
7.Select BOOTLOADER and then go to RECOVERY option.
8.When you are in ClockworkMod Recovery window, Perform a full data wipe by selecting “wipe data/factory reset”. Use the Power button to select everything while in the Recovery Mode.
8.After this, Perform a cache wipe by selecting “wipe cache partition”.
Note: It is recommended to perform a wipe of your dalvik cache to avoid boot loops or any other errors. To do this From CWM recovery window, go to ‘advanced’ and then select “wipe dalvik cache”.
10.Go back to the main recovery screen and select “install zip from SD card”.
11.Select “choose zip from sdcard”. Using your volume keys to navigate to the Android 6.0 ROM zip file and select it using the Power button.
12.To start the installation, Confirm it on the next window.
13.After the installation completes, go to “+++++Go Back+++++” and reboot the tablet by selecting “reboot system now” from the recovery menu.
Be patient while the device starts. As it is the first boot after the upgrade, It might take some time.
