Yesterday Samsung revealed the two flagship devices, Galaxy and S7 Edge, which priced INR. 48,900 and INR. 56,900 respectively. The devices have almost same specs except the screen size and the battery. They were having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor/ Exynos 8890 processor, Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32/64GB ROM. But the battery is a 3600mAh one on the S7 Edge while it is 3000mAh on the S7. The screen size also a little different. S7 Edge sports a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 pixels Curved AMOLED QHD display while the S7 has a 5.1-inch 2560 x 1440 pixels Super AMOLED QHD display.

To boost the pre-sales, Samsung also announced free VR headsets for those who pre-books the smartphones. Users are already flooding to the website to grab their piece before some others ordering it. The design looks pretty much similar and can’t be noticed other than a curve different on both devices. Can you compare the camera with the iPhone devices?

Yes, I will. Here is a sample of the camera images taken by the iPhone 6s and the Samsung Galaxy S7. As you can see, the picture looks brighter and detailed on the S7 than the iPhone one. So, it states, in some ways, the camera is better than the iPhone device. As S7 and S7 Edge sports the same shooters, the quality will be same on both smartphones.

How is the Gaming Performance?

The games run very smoothly on the device with the support of the Adreno 530 GPU. But, while running extremely graphic games, it shows a little stuck (only in highest graphic configuration), but still manages to provide a good gaming session.

It depends, if you are a gaming nerd, the answer may be a No. But, if you are a regular user, the battery can last longer even more than a Day.

The quality of the visuals is very much improved than the previous version of the devices. The games look pretty much good and well performing on the displays. We haven’t noticed any problems with the display with our hours of testing procedures.

Not exactly, but they look like the previous models in so many aspects. The sides are a little improved by adopting a vivid small curvy design. It also has a significant role in providing a good visual of the device as well as providing more grip. Looking from the front and back will give you an exact feel as the previous models.

    I just bought a s7 edge and is not happy with it. except for the the design and specs which is better than previous models, the apps specially audio and video, music are really bad. The S5 apps are much more rubost, works better and user friendly. I may have to go back to my S5….
