AGM A2 – Entry Level, Budget Priced Rugged Smartphone

AGM A2 is the new addition in the smartphone market from the house of AGM. AGM is exploring the rugged smartphone market severely for the last few weeks by releasing new devices regularly. This time they came with AGM A2, an entry level smartphone. The price is not announced, but AGM assures it will come under budget price.

AGM A2 is very compact looking. It has a tiny 4-inch screen which helps the designers to give a compact look. The smartphone is rugged outside to withstand toughness and shocks when it is dropped or hit any object accidently. It has a 14.5mm thickness which is an unusual amount of thickness when compared to other smartphones. But, it happens due to the rugged design which has extra covers around the device for protection. The smartphone weighs 225grams.

The 4-inch screen has 480 x 800 pixels screen resolution. As the screen size is lower, this screen resolution is not bad. If the same screen resolution comes with a 5-inch device, then it will only produce low display quality.

AGM A2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 Quad-core processor and Adreno 210 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB storage.

The rear camera comes with an 8MP sensor while the front camera has a 2MP sensor. AGM A2 is powered by 2600mAh battery. There is no quick charge feature, but it won’t affect as the battery capacity is not massive.

AGM A2 has dual SIM support with the SIM slot 1 only supports 4G SIM. The other features of AGM A2 are GPS, A-GPS, WiFi and WiFi Hotspot, Gravity and Geomagnetic sensor, NFC easy file transfer feature, USB On-The-Go, Bluetooth 4.0, Samsung standard 3.5mm Audio jack, micro 5PIN USB.
