AGM M1 – The IP68 Feature Phone Tested for Toughness and Water Proof

Feature Phone market is not diminished yet. Still, a significant number of users buying feature phones across the globe. The main reason for those to choose a Feature phone is it is easy to handle, and it survives the uncertain situations like accidental drops on the floor, dropped into water, etc. In such case, AGM unveiled their Feature Phone, AGM M1 with IP68 certification and rugged design.

The specifications of AGM M1 are – 2.0-Inch QCIF display with HD resolution (176 x 220 pixels), 2.0 Rear Camera with waterproof, expandable memory up to 8GB, 3.5mm audio jack pin, a 2570mAh battery and Dual SIM card slots.

A 2.0MP camera is great to see in a feature phone since many feature phones have very poor VGA camera. It also has a flashlight. The dual SIM supports GSM (one SIM), WCDMA (one SIM). The WCDMA SIM supports 3G network. The 2570mAh battery helps the device to work without charging for 5 days on casual use.

AGM M1 I also a certified waterproof, dust proof and shock proof feature phone. These proofing features are tested by AGM. You can check the drop test and water test of AGM M1 in the below video.

Nokia is still in the Feature Phone market, but their devices are not rugged and not certified with IP68 or waterproof. In that scenario, the rugged feature phones add more value to the safety of the device. AGM M1 designed with metal and synthetic rubber materials.

The price and release details of AGM M1 are not yet announced. But it is expected to come soon after the Chinese Spring festival season. We will update the price and release details immediately after the official announcement.
