Samsung Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Pricing and Color Options Leaked Ahead Of Launch

With only a few days left for the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, the popular tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks took to Twitter and leaked out the colors and pricing in EUR. In addition to the new smartphones, Blass also disclosed the pricing of the rumored accessories such as DeX, GearVR, and Gear360 headsets.

While the Samsung Galaxy S8 has been available at EUR 799, the cost of Galaxy S8+ has increased to EUR 899. As you can see, there is a difference of only EUR 100. Hence, if you want to work with a large display and enhanced specifications, you should consider the Galaxy S8+ variant.

Regarding the colors, the Galaxy S8 and the Plus option is expected to ship in Black Sky, Orchid Grey, and Arctic Silver color options. The upcoming Samsung DeX station, priced at EUR 150 will provide PC-centric capabilities to the flagship smartphones. In short, the dock station will be identical to Microsoft Continuum, which was made available with Lumia 950 handsets.

While the GearVR headset will be available at EUR 129, the Gear360 premium headset can be purchased starting at EUR 229. It remains to be seen as to whether Samsung will provide GearVR bundled with the Galaxy S8 smartphone for customers who pre-order the device.

Regarding the specifications, you can expect a 5.7-inch for the Galaxy S8 and 6.2-inch display for the Galaxy S8+ model. You can look forward Exynos processor for handsets shipped to Asian countries. The Plus model will provide support for Iris scanner, which enables you to unlock the phone using your eyes. The highlight of the Galaxy S8 series will be the addition of an AI-based digital assistant named Bixby.

Apparently, Samsung has restarted the repair services for out of warranty products in the US. Previously, Samsung declined to provide support for smartphones which are out of warranty even if a customer agrees to pay services charges. Recently, the Galaxy S8 and the big brother was cleared by the US FCC.
