AGM X1 With The Taste Of LineageOS Successfully Demonstrated

CyanogenMod was the most respected and popular custom ROM for Android. However, it doesn’t exist and was discontinued in 2016. You need not have to fret because you can work with LineageOS, which provides the same functionality as the CyanogenMod.

The latest smartphone in the pipeline is the integration of LineageOS with the rugged AGM X1 smartphone. According to reports, the AGM X1 handset is compatible with the LineageOS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The company has released a video, which showcases the capabilities of the LineageOS using AGM X1 handset.

With a total runtime of 4.19 minutes, the video examines all features of the LineageOS in detail. The company has posted a disclaimer stating that they are not responsible for any damages caused to the device as a result of the installation. The video then shows the various aspects of the platform such as launcher settings, AudioFX, screen recorder, theme chooser and much more.

If you watch the video, you will view that the LineageOS is compatible with Android Pay. Moreover, the demo also explains the concepts associated with the color temperature settings, ambient display and much more. You have to watch the video completely to know about the various functions.

On the specifications front, the AGM X1 features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD display, Snapdragon 617 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable internal storage, 13MP dual rear camera, 5MP selfie snapper powered by a 5400mAh battery with support for Quick Charging 2.0 technology.

The sad thing is that the phone ships with Android 5.1 but if you install LineageOS, you will be able to take advantage of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

As part of the inaugural offer, you can save $50 discount on the retail price. Hence, you need to pay $249.99 if you purchase the phone within the next few days.

The IP68 water-resistant phone is exclusively available on AliExpress with free shipping to all major countries. You can purchase the handset in either Black or Blue color variants. You can also keep track of special offers provided by AliExpress from time to time.
