Google Areo Helps You To Order Food And Home Services In India

If you think you can only order food online in the US, then you are wrong. Google Areo is here in India to your rescue. The app enables you to order food and home business services from your comforts of your home.

Google Areo is currently available only in Bangalore and Mumbai. If you are located in any other city, you will be able to install the app but will not be able to use the app.

With Google Areo, you will be required to place an order for meals from various select restaurants. Moreover, you can schedule appointments with electricians, plumbers, cleaners, painters, carpenters and much more.

Google Areo

To install Google Areo, you need to navigate to the Google Play Store and search for Areo. The app can be easily installed depending upon your network connectivity. We installed it quickly with a Reliance Jio 4G connectivity. As soon as you open the Google Areo app, the system will automatically locate your address.

If you are located in Bangalore or Mumbai, you will be able to view the details of the participating restaurants. Otherwise, you will view a message stating that the address doesn’t exist.

The main purpose behind the launch of Google Areo is to consolidate food delivery and home-based services through a single app. You can search for various dishes or restaurants. It is also possible to filter results based on your eating habits such as Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian. You can also pay for the specific service from within the app using Internet banking, credit card or even opt for cash on delivery.

You should note that Google Areo only acts as an agent. You have to select a specific service, which will be provided directly by the relevant person. We expect Google will grab a fixed percent commission for offering the services.

Some of the partners who have tied up with Google Areo are UrbanClap, Zimmber, Freshmenu, Box8 and Faasos. When it comes to the payment it works with DirecPay, which is part of TimesofMoney.

Google Areo is currently available for download on the Google Play Store. As of writing this, we don’t have any information about when Google will launch the service in other parts of India. We expect that Google is currently beta testing the app. Based on the feedback, the search-engine giant will launch the services in other cities.
