HTC One M7 is a sleek smartphone with robust specs and features. If you are a proud owner of HTC One M7 luckily you can update your device with CyanogenMod CM11 KitKat custom firmware. The official firmware update for the One M7 is not released yet and no idea on when they would launch. This update is not a official update from the device manufacturer and you would require a custom recovery like ClockworkMod in order to flash the ROM and Google Apps files on your phone. - First backup all your contacts, call logs and SMS.
- Enable USB debugging mode from Settings->Applications->Development->USB debugging in your device.
- Install latest HTC One M7 USB drives on your computer.

2.Connect your device to computer and transfer the downloaded files to your internal SD card and make sure the files are in the SD card root. And Copy/paste the boot.img file to android-sdk-windows\platform-tools directory.
3.Disconnect device from PC and turn off the device.
4.Now enter into bootloader mode by pressing and holding volume up+volume down and power buttons together.
5.In the Fastboot mode on your device, navigate to android-sdk-windows\platform-tools directory on your computer and open Command Prompt Shift + Right-click > Open Command Prompt. Then type the following command.
fastboot flash boot boot.img
6.Next type the following command and press enter.
7.Follow the on screen instructions and select bootloader and then go to Recovery.
8.Now enter into bootloader and go to recovery option. Here perform a full data wipe by selecting “wipe data/factory reset”, cache wipe by selecting “wipe cache partition” and also perform wipe dalvik cache .
9.Now go back to main recovery screen and select “install zip from SD Card”. Now select “choose zip from sdcard”. Using your volume keys, navigate to the Android 4.4.4 ROM file that you copied to your SD card and select it using the Power button.
10.Same procedure (step 9 only) is applied for Google Apps package also.
11.After installations go back and reboot the device. It might take 5 minutes to boot on your first time.
For the firmware update confirmation go to Settings>>About phone to verify the version.
