Google has rolled out a fix for Android vulnerability issue called “Stagefright.” The Google has finally finished fix for Stagefright; the update is available for factory images as an OTA update.
Stagefright is an Android vulnerability, which can enable hackers to hack device by simply sending a malicious text message to the user’s phone.
The update is available for devices like Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9, and Nexus 10. For other Android devices, the Android has filed the issue and rolled out an update to the concerned OEM.
To get this update head to Settings > About phone > System updates on your Nexus device and click on Check for update button.

If you haven’t received the update, you can manually flash Factory image to fix the issue. Download an appropriate image of Android from below link.
