The company known for making quality laptops has also created the buzz in the smartphone industry with great success in the budget segment. The Lenovo is slowly gaining its place in the budget segment with Lenovo K3 Note. The Lenovo’s mid-range portfolio was a good value for money devices ever since the release of A6000, A6000 Plus and the A7000.

The K3 Note is packed with everything you want to see on a budget phablet. Big screen, FHD display for ultimate gaming and entertainment experience, powerful processor, and superior build quality. It’s all about flagship killers these days, though can Lenovo stand in the market? Let’s see.

Lenovo K3 Note Review: Build Quality & Features

The Lenovo K3 Note comes with 5.5 inches Full HD display (1920 X 1080P) and has an IPS panel with a 401ppi. The device is powered by 1.7Ghz Octa Core MediaTek MT6752 processor which is also a 64-bit processor along with 2GB RAM and Mali-T760MP2 GPU. Coming to storage it has 16GB internal memory and expandable up to 32GB.

The looks and design of the device is much similar to the A7000. The design is simple and suitable for this price point. The front panel sports a 5.5-inch display, 5MP front snappy camera along with set of sensors and at the bottom the device has three capacitive buttons. The power and volume keys are on the right side and 3.5mm audio jack along with micro USB charging slot is on the top. On the connectivity side, it has dual SIM card support and 4G LTE connectivity.

The display of the device is good at FHD resolution, the brightness of the screen is an asset for the device. Even in strong sunlight, the display is clearly visible. For gaming and entertainment, the K3 Note display is an ideal example. The touch response on the display is also good. You can really enjoy a good multimedia experience on the device.

Performance

The device is powered by 1.7Ghz Octa Core MediaTek processor, the performance of the device was pretty good and we never experienced any lags overall. There is 16GB internal storage and out of which the phone has around 12.3GB user available. You can also expand the storage via micro SD card and also install apps on the SD card by changing the default write disk.

We tested the device running multiple apps at a time, the performance while switching the apps is good. I didn’t face any lags or any issues while using the phablet at maximum usage. The signal quality of the phone is very good. The call quality on the phone was decent and we didn’t notice any issues with calls and the speaker output was decent.

The camera performance of the device is good, the photos taken in daylight has plenty of details. The color reproduction is very good and the white balance is up to the level. The device can capture your videos at 720p and FHD 1080P resolution. The video recording was good and the video stabilization was done pretty well. K3 Note features a 3000mAh battery and this is decent capacity for a 5.5-inch device in the mid-range segment.

Given the price, the Lenovo K3 Note is a rather solid entry-level performer and at the same time is easily available. The device is definitely a phablet worth investing. If you are looking for an all-round mid-range phone, go get the new K3 Note.
