The ZTE Nubia N7 comes under the heavyweights; it has a 5.5-inch 2K display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core 2.5GHz processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.

On the imaging front, the phablet features a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and laser autofocus and a front facing 5MP camera and runs on Android 4.4 operating system. The front panel houses a 5.5inch display along with a set of usual sensors and front facing a 5MP camera, the rear panel also houses the 13MP camera, and dual LED flash along and Nubia logo.

Performance

On the plus side, the Nubia Z7 features a 5.5-inch 2K display with (1440 x 2560 pixels) only a few phones offers 2K display at this price point. The display quality and colors look pretty good, and the viewing angles are also good. The touch response is very good too. The screen is pretty sharp as well and should be good for multimedia and also gaming. The phablet has a power button and volume keys on the right side. The 3.5mm audio jack is placed on the top and the micro USB slot, microphone at the bottom.

The gaming experience of the device was good, and the 5.5-inch 2K display is well suited for it. The phone comes with 32GB internal storage and 28GB is usable, and there is no micro SD expansion slot on this device.

The device is packed with an outdated Android operating system Android 4.4 if you want to install the latest Lollipop you can manually update with custom ROM. The call quality on the device was good, and we never experienced any call drops, and the signal strength was good. The device comes with a whopping 3100mAh battery; it gives a good battery life in normal usage which includes calls, browsing, email, casual gaming and social networking apps. The overall performance of the device was good, and we didn’t experience any or issues.

Given the price, the ZTE Nubia N7 is a solid mid-level performer and at the same time is easily available. With a Quad-core chipset and 3GB of RAM, along with an impressive 13 MP camera, the Nubia Z7 is a real performer.
