Once again Xiaomi strikes the market with a new release Xiaomi Mi 4C. Before I’m going to say other things, I want to say that “Xiaomi Mi 4C never missed any single aspect you are looking in a smartphone. This Smartphone targets the Mid-Price range category.
It looks like Xiaomi concentrated on hardware and custom interface more than their outer look. But, they added a different color option for the back cover case. It looks cool to the eyes with that beautiful back cases. The Processor chipset is Snapdragon 808, the most hottest Chip Brand at present in the gadget world. The battery has 3080mAh, which is another top spec of Xiaomi Mi 4c. Also, Xiaomi Mi 4c is available in 2 variants, 2GB RAM 16GB Rom and another is 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Let’s look into the build quality, performance, and other features.
Build Quality and Design of Xiaomi Mi 4c
The Design is attractable with the varied color cases in the back. The Outer side is covered with Plastic Chassis which makes the phone lighter when compared with the little big battery size. The Rear Camera is placed in the right top corner with a LED flash.
The Back side is not removable including battery. There is a small opening in the left side, which will pop up the Sim Card holder when you insert the Pin (Pin included with the package). The Sim card holder has an option for holding 2 Sim Cards. The right side of the device has Power button and Volume buttons. USB-C type port is placed at the bottom. The screen looks brighter and all the photos and videos are amazing to see in the 1080p FHD display. The Primary Rear camera has 13MP with dual LED flash. It has Faced/Smile detection feature which is not usually seen in smartphones. The Back Camera has 5.0MP with 1080 pixel resolution. These camera features are working fine without any issues like other cheap handsets with same features.
When looking into the hardware of Xiaomi Mi4C. it has the powerful Snapdragon 808 chipset which is a product of Qualcomm, running with 2 Quad-core CPU. One Quad-core has clock speed up to 1.44Ghz and another has 1.82Ghz. Graphics Processor is Adreno418, which is also powerful and accelerate well during gaming and using apps with more graphics functions. The battery has 3080mAh power, which is not bad for this specifications. Especially the screen is only 5.0 inch, so the battery can keep a charge longer than 5.5-inch screen devices.
As mentioned earlier, 2 variants available with Xiaomi Mi4C based on RAM and ROM storage. One variant is lower with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM another is higher with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. One drawback is no memory card slot available to expand the storage. But, as an alternative, you can use USB flash drive as external storage using the USB port. For those who decide to buy the phone, it is better to pick the higher variant that has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM for both better performance as well as to avoid storage issues in future when you want to keep more Photos and Videos.

Xiaomi Mi4C with powerful Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and 3080mAh battery priced at 289.69$. The lower variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM priced at 239.69$. First of all, the phone has all the hardware and build quality at top standards. We all know Xiaomi’s previous releases very well, they never failed in hardware and performance. So, the only question is which variant to pick and the non-availability of memory card slots.
If you are a Photo, Videos, Movie lover and usually save huge collections, pick higher variant with 32GB ROM. And for the external storage, use the USB Drive using the USB port. If you are a normal user of a smartphone, 2GB RAM, and 16GB ROM variant is more than enough for your needs.
