LG K7 LTE is one new smartphone from LG in February 2016. This phone is released along with the LG K10 LTE in India. The LG K7 LTE straightly aimed at the low specs and low range smartphone market. LG is in the smartphone industry for so long time. Even we can say once they fight head to head with Samsung. But now everything changed. LG has no consumer base in any area of the smartphone market. They are targeting mid range or high range, no one knows.
LG K7 is one made to target the low range at the same time, they released a high-level smartphone named LG G5. Looking at the specs of LG K7, it is not very impressive though for a low range smartphone. Let’s have a look on the specs of the device.

Specs Details and Opinion of LG K7 LTE
LG K7 LTE has a 5 inch screen with 2.5D arc curved display. The screen resolution is 480 X 854 pixels. This is way too low in a 5 inch smartphone. The screen density is about 196ppi only because of the low screen resolution. The display is made of IPS LCD technology.
The smartphone carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor which has Quad-core Cortex A7 chipset which can be clocked to the maximum of 1.1GHz. It is coupled with the Adreno 304 GPU. It is supported by a 1GB RAM with 8GB inbuilt storage. There is no need to explain the above configuration. It is simply worst in the present smartphone market. Snapdragon 210 is almost an oldest one which is never used by any smartphone maker in the recent times.
The camera in the rear and front both has 5MP sensors. Some variant has 8MP camera. The rear one has a flash light. The video recording can be done at 720p at 30fps. The software loaded in this device is Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Unlike the other specs, battery is pretty decent with a 2125mAh capacity. This can power up the device for nearly 7-10 hours of continuous use. For normal usage, it can hold the power for more than 24 hours casually.
There are Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and 4G LTE are available for connectivity. Some of the needed features like NFC, USB OTG, Fingerprint sensor are not available.
Pros and Cons of LG K7 LTE
Pros
- Good Build and design for the price range
- Good Battery performance
Cons
- Very Low screen resolution
- CPU and RAM are too low and the performance also very bad
- Camera is less configured
Conclusion
The price of LG K7 LTE is around Rs.8500-9000 in India. The price is too much for this device. For the same price, we are getting many good configured smartphones in the market. Our opinion is, if anyone want to use a smartphone of low configuration with a brand name, then LG K7 is one of the choice. You cannot expect any kind of performance in this smartphone or value for money.
