Reddit is a website which has been around us for 13 years. The website was originally launched in 2005. Founders included 22 – year – old graduate from the University of Virginia, Alexis Ohanian, and Steve Huffman. Steve is currently the CEO of the website starting from 2015. The main question many new users have is what exactly the need of the website is, and why it has been serving for years. It is like a front page of the web, where you have communities, wherein like-minded people regularly keep posting on relevant topics, these can be discussed or keep aside based on the poles and other factors like as karmas.

Like we mentioned on the front page of the internet, it is something similar only. It can also be taken as the bulletin board in any organization. If we see the count, Reddit has been the 6th most popular website with Google, YouTube, Facebook, Baidu and Wikipedia taking the places ahead Reddit, while we have likes of Amazon, Twitter, Instagram, which are below the popularity of Reddit.

In 2018 a poll was made for Reddit users about the different operating systems being used by Reddit. Windows made it to 36%, while Android was at just 31%, which is followed by iOS, MacOS, and Linux. This makes clear that most Windows users are the most widely used users. Also, it is clear that despite no official application available for Reddit on Mobile, people are using Reddit via the unofficial medium. Hence Reddit in the recent past has been making quite a good amount of reputation.

Reddit is just a collection of different subReddit. There are a number of different subreddits on the list which attracts all the different redditors. One of the most known ones is r/announcements where one can find the official announcements from Reddit. People have made a number of different subreddits where you can post about them, these are the topics which are trending and more and more people are falling for the same.

You can find a subreddit about each and every topic which is trending and is famous, although note that not all subreddits are trending famous topics, as people make some and find that none of the people are interested, and they keep there for years. One of the best thing about Reddit is that they always make it clear that none of the nonsense will be entertained by the redditors or the website. We always find a topic that adheres to the guidelines of the website, and also to the people who are using it.
