Last month, a mysterious prototype revealed some details of what OnePlus was “cooking” in their labs … namely, from the back of what should be called OnePlus 7! But today, in a new leak, we can see what is most probably the front of the next top of the Chinese manufacturer that has a motto ‘Never Settle’!
Let’s start by talking about what’s out there in the new OnePlus 7. There is not any kind of Notch! Starting at the top, it is all too obvious that this almost ceased to exist! What in fact, is a feat that is completely possible with existing technology. In fact, OnePlus’ parent company has already achieved this with its innovative Oppo Find X, by using a sliding mechanism to hide the front camera as well as other sensors. So, considering that these companies love sharing technology, a OnePlus 7 with this design philosophy is something quite likely.
Also, if you look closely at the image above, there is an empty space at the top of the cover of the alleged ‘OnePlus 7’! Where we can find several cutouts, which should make room for the front camera and other sensors. Well, deep down, this may even be an Oppo Find X side by side with a OnePlus 6T. However, there are some important differences.
First, the ‘Power’ button is on the right side, close to the classic Alert Slider that OnePlus loves to implement on its smartphones. Similarly, the loudspeaker on the top edge is louder and louder than we can find in Oppo Find X.
In short, if OnePlus decides to continue with its traditional calendar, OnePlus 7 will hit the market in May in a normal version side by side with a 5G version of the same handset. That is why the leaks should begin to arrive Internet in abundance in the coming weeks.
