AMX XP 40 Wall Charger Review: Charge All of Them

Charging devices were always one of the most hated things that we ever had to do. Cutting out the fun, waiting for the device to get charged, and finally moving on to the next device that needs some juice to wake up again.

This is where the significance of a multi-device charger comes to the play. A product that can charge multiple devices at the same time would be a lot better than a charger that just has a single wire thingy going on. Don’t worry, your wiring won’t get explored, unless you are charging multiple Teslas from the plug, just kidding. Your wall-plug can handle that.

AMX, a company that focuses on producing peripherals for mobile devices came up with its new product AMX XP 40 which is a multi-device charger that can charge up to 4 devices at the same time.

The 25 W ports will be able to handle any of your modern-day devices such as mobile phones, tablets, etc. with ease. That’s what we are going to review today, The AMX XP 40. Does it worth buying? Let’s have a look.

Design

The charger comes with a very simple design that has nothing fancy on top. All you get is a charger with a solid basic design that has the pretty cool looking AMX logo on top. If you don’t like it, just scratch it out. 😉

But I am pretty sure that the logo gives an additional boost to the good-look the product has. Made of High-Grade PC & ABS plastic, the AMX charger feels pretty solid in the hand and fitting well in the wall port. The device just comes in a Jet Black colour. So, if you don’t like Black, you might have to adjust to it. Weighing just 99.8g, the product is built with cunning edges that doesn’t feel so cheap.

So, what makes the product special? There should be something that makes it stand out from the competitors to impress people to choose the product over others. So, let’s have a look at the things that AMX XP 40 has to offer.

4 USB Ports

Of course 4 USB ports. It’s not so common to see a charger that has 4 ports and lets you charge 4 of your lovely devices all at once. You no longer have to wait for that always hungry, yet unavoidable device to get charged to get something for your remaining devices.

Just plugin all 4 of them at once and sit back until they are fully charged. All the ports feel pretty solid and grips to the USB pretty well. I bet you won’t be able to plug it in without looking though.

Flash Charge

The device comes with something AMX calls the “Flash Charge.” The term is familiar from a lot of manufacturers out there that basically denotes the device will charge any product that is plugged in pretty quickly.

All ports will juice up your devices pretty quickly while you enjoy the rest of your meal. The XP 40 is capable of charging Up To 2.4A Per Port or 5A in total. So, most of your smartphones should work file with the product.

Compatibility

The XP 40 is compatible with all type-C phones such as Apple, Mi, Nokia, Samsung, etc. So if you got a type-C charging port, you are good to go. If you don’t, well, let’s wait for them to make something that you can use. Don’t worry. As most of the new devices are adopting the type-C ports, I think most of you will be owning one as well.

Secured Charging

All your devices plugged in are safe from any burns or stuff that might cause harm to the product. Incorporating such a rare feature by providing a way to charge multiple devices at the same time could result in a pretty bad situation if not designed correctly.

Thanks to the BIS certification that assures the quality of the product. All your devices plugged in are safe from any fatalities. Or at least our devices didn’t get hurt from a few weeks of continuous usage. So, I think, that’s enough of a period to trust a product.

Should you Buy it?

If you got more than one device that you simultaneously use or you are living with your family were almost of you own a device and doesn’t own their own chargers, well, Yes. Buying one would be a great choice to avoid the clashes for the charger.

Even if you don’t have a large number of people who don’t want your charger, but the one you own is a crappy product, rush to the store and have one. All it costs is ₹729, but I am pretty sure that it will be ₹999 soon when the offer ends. So, hurry up if you want one.

Verdict

After using and testing the product for a few weeks, we can tell that the AMX XP 40 is a pretty solid product which most of you will find helpful. The design is good, the product performs great, and the price also seems to be cheap. So, if you think that you need one for charging all of your devices all at once, this might be a great choice.
