But there can be situations you have to cancel the NordVPN subscription either because you are switching to another VPN service or simply stop using VPN services. If you subscribed to the service using a credit card by adding it to your account, NordVPN automatically enables the recurring payment towards the credit card every month or at the end of the billing period based on your subscription model. So to stop being charged from NordVPN, you should cancel the recurring payment option.
To cancel NordVPN subscription
- Login to NordVPN.
- Click on the View Details button under My Services.
- On the right side of the next payment date section, click on the three vertical dots.
- Click on Cancel Auto renewal.
- It will ask you if you are sure that you want to disable the auto-renewal.
- Click on the Disable Auto renewal button.
- That’s it.
As soon as you complete the above steps, NordVPN will stop charging your credit card. Be sure to confirm the cancellation was successful and check if you are being charged at the end of the billing cycle.
