Acer at an event held in New York unveiled their Liquid Zest Plus smartphone. It is an improved version of the Acer Liquid Zest that was launched recently at the MWC event this year. The device is priced $250 (approximately Rs. 16,000) and currently, will be available in the US. The main attraction of the device is the 5000mAh large battery. Apart from the low battery smartphones, Acer this time chose a different way to attract users to their smartphone. 5000mAh will be enough to deliver a good usage time even on extreme gaming.

The fast charging functionality of the battery sweetens the features. The device will be equipped with a 5.5-inch 720×1280 pixels display alongside a 1.3GHz processor to power the tasks. The quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset will be more than enough to meet the user needs by pairing to the 2GB RAM available on the Liquid Zest Plus. Android 6.0 powers the device well integrated with the hardware to deliver a good user interface without showing any buggies.

Looking to the camera, there is a 13.0 MP shooter on the backside. The camera is powered by an LED flash and also comes with a new feature dubbed tri-focus. It also includes features such as a laser, contrast, and phase detection. On the front, a 5.0 MP camera will power the selfies. From our testing, the cameras working perfect and outputs clear images even on extreme lighting or on gloomy conditions. But, while moving the camera and clicking a shot, the images not looks that much perfect.

While talking about the design of the Zest Plus, the front camera looks a little larger with a large round placed on the upper center portion of the front side. The Acer logo can be seen on the lower portion without including the navigation button there. The buttons will be visible on the screen for the quicker and better navigations. Looking to the backside, there is also a larger rounded camera that feels good above the flashlight. On the lower portion, the DTS-HD speaker is placed just below the Acer logo.

All in all the device specs and design looks good. The battery is the main attraction of the device. As it is also coming with the fast charging technology the device will be very suitable for travellers and gamers who need frequent recharges alongside good battery capacity. The pricing is also at an average range. The smartphone will be soon available in all countries. So, let’s wait for it.
