We have seen that today’s technology has gotten a lot better from earlier and it is also common to see that the mobiles, tablets and other devices are able to differentiate between voices from different users and give them curated content based on their voice.

Now, it is being reported that the ability to recognize the exact voice of a user can come to Android TVs as well. In recent times, we have seen that the demand for Android TV has increased but its supply has increased even more.

In countries like India, there are dozens of Android TVs launched in the last 12 months from a variety of companies and they all compete on similar price points too.

Earlier, Google did say that they are working on bringing Google Assistant’s Voice Match feature to many more gadgets and now that includes TVs too. So you can now use your Google Assistant with different voices on your TV and get different results as well.

This report comes from 9to5Google which was successful in finding out the code which reveals that Android TVs might soon get the ability for Voice Match. However, we don’t know the soon part meaning that the feature could come next month or next year since we are not sure about the progress.

One advantage, out of the many, could be that your Android TV launches directly into your Netflix profile instead of making you choose on-screen. This is thanks to recognizing your voice and selecting the user based on the same.

A report also mentions that “TV viewing is often one of the prime use cases for multi-user support, and support for multiple voices could make your living room experience that much easier.” So Voice Match support could be helpful for a lot of people who use different accounts on the same TV.
