Apple AirPower – Wireless Charger Is Delayed, But It’s On The Way!

Apple has a history of bringing innovation to its products in a time-consuming manner. After all, the wireless charging on iPhones was something possible, only from 2017. But apparently waiting for AirPower, Apple’s wireless charger, is coming to an end! It seems that the loader is finally on the production lines.

It was confirmed, when ChargerLAB quotes “a credible source” of the Apple assembly line in twitter. It hints this wireless-charging mat is entering into the manufacturing process. After a while, ChargerLAB has indicated that another Apple provider, Pegatron, will also start manufacturing the AirPower from January 21. The workers have indicated that the base has three layers of copper with which it can be loaded on the entire surface.

Actually, AirPower was announced in September 2017 and it was promised that it would arrive in early 2018. However, it seems that Apple could not prevent some difficulties when manufacturing this wireless charging base. Also, the company showed its intelligent features and the ability to load three devices.

At the beginning of 2018 it did not arrive, nor did it during the rest of the year. It was noticed, the main reason behind the two years delay of this innovative product is overheating. While this charging pad packs three devices, the power consumption is exceeded and it causes a rise in temp. Indeed, engineers also encountered more time taken to solve its design problems.

If these indications are true and also the report that it is already in production… Then very soon we may finally see the AirPower on sale earlier this 2019. Let’s see, what makes it true in the coming months.
