Apple has announced the next version of Mac OS software, MacOS Mojave in WWDC 2018. As we already know every update brings new features and user interface, Mojave also packed with a wide variety of features. Let’s take a quick look at the MacOS Mojave features.

Dark Mode

The first and main interesting feature of the new update is Dark mode. MacOS Mojave comes packed with Dark Mode feature. It just toggles all bright colors on the screen to dark. Colors like white and light grey become blacks and dark grey colors. This feature is mainly developed for users those who want a distraction-free work environment. Many users are now using third-party themes to activate the Dark mode on Mac OS. Now with the help of this feature, users no longer need to use other programs to activate the Dark mode on the machine.

Desktop Stacks

Another interesting feature is Stacks. This feature will automatically arrange the desktop contents into Stacks. The arrangement is followed by, date, tag, and kind of the content. When you click on a Stack, it will show the list of arranged icons in the particular stack. This feature is helpful to manage your desktop neat and clutter-free.

Dynamic Desktop

This feature is purely for Desktop customization lovers. Dynamic Desktop features bring you an interesting wallpaper to your Mac machine. In this feature, a background picture of desert changes the sunshade according to the day and night timings.

Finder

Finder has got some new features in this update. The gallery view shows a large preview section, it can show the metadata of photos and some quick actions to perform tasks. This feature will replace the third-party image editors with basic editing tools.

Taking screenshots became much easy in the MacOS Mojave. This update brings you some basic editing tools to edit the screenshot you’ve taken without relying on the other apps.

Security and Privacy Features

Apple has added a new security and privacy feature to the Mac in the Mojave. By default, the Mac will protect user microphone, camera, location information, contacts, photos, calendar, reminders, message history, Safari data and mail database. Also, the Safari will block the third-party trackers while you browsing the social media networks and other sites.
