Apple has made a major announcement at its “services” event yesterday. The company, as expected, has announced its TV streaming service. This new service from Apple is an extension to its Apple TV service. And Apple has named it as Apple TV+. This is a subscription-based service which requires you to pay a monthly or yearly fee for watching the content. However, Apple TV+’s subscription plan is set apart due to the content it offers.

Looks like Apple has spent a huge lot of money for getting various celebrities on board. Apple has announced that its TV+ service will have exclusive shows from these celebrities. The list of celebrities included in Apple TV+ include the likes of Steven Speilberg, Jennfier Anniston, Kumail Nanjiani and Oprah. All of these celebrities will have their own shows on Apple TV+. The company also announced that Apple TV+ will work across iOS, macOS and tvOS ofcourse.

However, the company did not announce anything regarding its pricing. The company said that the TV+ service will start this fall. Apple says that you will be able to see unlimited content on Apple TV+ plan with new shows being added constantly too. Apple has also signed the Sesame Street which will have a show on teaching kids how to code.

All of these shows certainly managed to create much hype among Apple fans. But it is hard to predict the future of this service when the price is not revealed yet. With this move, Apple has officially entered the market to compete with Netflix. Apple also says that its platform is kept ad-free so that you are not being tracked by the advertisers. Tim Cook also mentioned that Apple TV+ content will be available offline and online in more than 100 countries around the world including India’s Eros Now.
