Apple, as part of the WWDC 2019, pleased its “Pro” fans with a much-awaited announcement. This was the announcement regarding a redesigned Mac Pro from Apple. The company has finally released a new Mac Pro which comes with a new design from the previous Mac Pro too. Earlier, we saw that the Mac Pro had the trash can design. But now, the Mac Pro comes with a cheese grater design which is also a throwback to the previous design of Mac Pro.

As far as the Mac Pro is concerned, it is the best Mac out there for Professional users. And with the Mac Pro 2019, Apple is targeting the same audience as well. We know that the Mac Pro comes with the most powerful specs available on a Mac. The Mac Pro which was announced yesterday is no different as well. Apple has placed an Intel Xeon processor on the Mac Pro which has 28 cores.

Along with that, you have 8 PCIe expansion slots as well as an option for up to 1.5TB of SSD storage. Apple has announced that the base variant of Mac Pro will come with 32GB RAM and just 256GB SSD along with the Intel Xeon processor which has 28 cores. Apple also demoed the performance of Mac Pro on stage and it is definitely a powerhouse for all the power users.

To complement the Mac Pro, Apple also built a display called the Pro XDR display. This is a 32-inch LCD display from Apple which supports 6K Retina HDR and gives an extreme dynamic range. Apple says that this is the best display they have ever made and it works perfectly well with its newest Mac Pro. The display has great colour accuracy and is suitable for long video and photo editing sessions.

Coming to the price, Mac Pro starts at $5999 in the US for the base variant whereas the Pro XDR display starts at $4999. However, Apple is also selling a stand for the Pro XDR display separately which alone would cost you $999, same as iPhone Xs.
