We know that there is a lot of hype and excitement around every new product that Apple launches. Every year, we get the traditional Apple products such as MacBooks, iPads, iPhones and more from the company. Also, we see that people queue up from midnight in front of the Apple Store, especially in the US, to get their hands first on those products on the day of release. However, we have a different Apple product this time around and people are similarly excited about it. We are talking about the Apple Card which is a credit card from Apple and Goldman Sachs.

Basically, Apple Card is a credit card made by Apple along with software provided by the company too. However, the banking and financing of the card is done by Goldman Sachs. The unique thing about Apple’s Credit Card is that is made out of titanium and not plastic. Apart from that, you get the minimal look and premium design that you get with every Apple product.

But since the Apple Card is built with titanium and is white in colour, there are already fears that it might get yellowish and scratchy. For that reason, Apple already has a set of rules which will help you keep your Apple Card clean for a long time. Here is what Apple recommends you to do with your Apple Card:

  • Store your titanium Apple Card in a wallet, pocket, or bag made of soft materials.
  • Place your card in a slot in your wallet or billfold without touching another credit card. If two credit cards are placed in the same slot your card could become scratched.
  • Don’t place or store your titanium Apple Card card near magnets. If your card is placed close to a magnetic latch on a purse or bag, the magnetic strip can become demagnetized.
  • Don’t place your titanium Apple Card in a pocket or bag that contains loose change, keys, or other potentially abrasive objects.
