We have seen that the tensions between the US and China have been at an all-time high. This is because of the ongoing concerns regarding the US-China trade war which is impacting most of the world. Now, Apple is one of the US companies which is tensed regarding the US’ situation with China as well. The reason behind this is Foxconn which is the main manufacturer of iPhones having its factory in China. Since the US has announced tariffs on products imported from China, Apple has had to cut its production.

One of the biggest gainers out of the US-China situation seems to be India. Because it has been revealed that Apple is investing $1 Billion in the country and it looks to move production of its products out of China. Since manufacturers such as Samsung, OnePlus and others have already started production in India, it is not surprising to see Apple being added to the list as well. On the other hand, it will also be a big boost to the industrial sector in India. Now, we do not expect Apple to move full production of iPhones to India but we believe that the company will manufacture iPhones sold in India in the country itself.

This will not only cut the operating costs of the company but also let them cut prices on their products which are struggling in the country due to high asking prices. Apple fans in India will also be able to rejoice due to this decision and we are sure that the sales will pick up for Apple once the prices go down. It is interesting to note that even Foxconn and other partners are with Apple on this move. Also, it is said that Apple has plans to export “Made in India” globally which will definitely put India on the global map
