Apple caught everyone by surprise Tuesday morning as the company announced upgraded MacBook Pro variants for 2019. This includes both the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro which are available around the world. Now, the most exciting thing about these new MacBook Pro is that they are powered by 8th generation and 9th generation Intel Core processors.

This means the new MacBook Pro has an 8-core CPU rather than a quad-core one like the present. Apple says that its new MacBook Pro laptops are faster than ever. Also, they mention that the new and upgraded MacBook Pro gives 2x more performance than the previous models. Now, that is understandable as the previous ones had four cores and the upgraded ones have twice as many cores as the previous ones.

Apple promises that the new MacBook can give speeds of up to 5.0 GHz with the help of Turbo Boosting. Another major announcement is the new material Apple uses for its updated MacBook Pro keyboards. The company says that users will now experience much lesser double key presses and missed key presses with the new keyboard.

With the launch of upgraded MacBook Pro, Apple has also bumped up their prices in the US as well as other markers, as expected. For the US, the 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1599 and the 15-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1999. However, the prices announced for Indian markets are very interesting. Apple’s latest MacBook Pro starts at Rs. 1,59,900 for the 13-inch model and Rs. 1,99,900 for the 15-inch variant.

From the pricing and what we have seen previously, we can say that the US companies convert the US $ into INR as Rs. 100/$. However, the current price of US Dollar to INR is less than Rs. 70. We do, however, understand that there are plenty of taxes that are taken into account before setting the prices of these products in the market.
