Apple’s WWDC 2020 is going to be massive – here’s what you can expect

Apple iMac redesign

There has been a lot of talk regarding the upcoming Apple developer conference also known as the WWDC 2020. This year is going to be special for Apple because it is the 31st year in which the company is going to hold its annual developer conference and even more special because it will be the first online-only event in the history. Now, we do know that there were reports of it being cancelled as well but we are glad that the event is going to take place next week.

On the other hand, reports are that the event is going to be the largest ever because of the number of announcements that Apple is going to make this year. First up, we will likely have the company announce its first Mac powered by an ARM chip rather than an Intel processor. We will also see a redesigned iMac which will be the first time that Apple will unveil a newly designed iMac after its debut almost a decade ago.

As always, we will see the new versions of iOS, iPadOS, TvOS as well as macOS which is why we gather at the event in the first place. Next week, we will see the announcement of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, macOS 10.16, tvOS 14 and others. The rumoured iMac will have much slimmer bezels as well as an SSD instead of Fusion Drive making it much faster. However, there is still a doubt if Apple will announce the iMac at WWDC 2020 but we do hope so.

Along with that, we are likely to see Apple’s AirPods Studio which will compete with Bose QC series and Sony’s WH series of headphones with similar or better features. There will also be a new product called AirTag which will be Apple’s version of the Tile tracker to make sure that your products don’t get lost.
