Around 2000 OnePlus Buds were seized by Feds because they were counterfeit of Apple Airpods

Apple AirPods Pro Hands-On In-Depth Review

People are not able to tell the basic differences between Airpods and many other earbuds which have a similar design. The concerned authorities of US Customs And Border Protection tweeted about the same issue tonight. The officers of the administrations are said to have seized around 2,000 counterfeit Apple Airpods from Hong Kong. The information about the procedure was given through a tweet by the concerned authorities of the administration. The 2000 Airpods have been valued $398K. Although, all of the Airpods were just OnePlus Buds. The two models are quite similar. The accused has been fooling the people by selling them as Apple Airpods.

A press release was also initiated by the concerned authorities on the same situation. In the press release, it was written about the genuine appreciation for the CBP officers. The officers have protected the American public from various dangers on a daily basis. The press release also appreciated the officers for saving the Americans from purchasing the fake Apple Airpods. This was a successful mission by the concerned authorities. Although, the product which seized is quite apparently the OnePlus Buds. It was also transported in the OnePlus box. It is also quite unclear whether the 2000 Airpods were all OnePlus Buds or not.

All of the Buds were originated from Hong Kong and were also seized at JFK on August 31st. If all of them are OnePlus Buds, then it will cost around 79 dollars each and all of 2000 of them will be worth around $158,000. Each and every company nowadays are coming up with Airpods like Buds. The boxes seized by the officers also clearly said that they belong to the company OnePlus. There is no legitimate reason why the officers have seized the boxes. Oneplus must be going through a lot because of this seized but it can be the lesson for all of the companies to be more original rather than copying the design of other companies.
