Asus has announced a game-changing smartphone for the mid-range segment once again. This is the latest Zenfone Max Pro smartphone from Asus. The device is named as the Asus Zefnone Max Pro M2 and is the successor to Max Pro M1 from last year. Along with that, Asus also launched the Zenfone Max M2 as an entry-level offering.
As far as Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is concerned, it is clearly the target smartphone from Asus. This device comes with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ screen and a 19:9 aspect ratio. However, there is a notch on the display of this device this time around. On the inside, there is Snapdragon 660 SoC and 3,4 and 6GB of RAM options. For internal storage, there are 32GB and 64GB options of this device.
There are dual cameras on the back of the Zenfone Max Pro M2 which are 13MP + 12MP. On the front is a mono 5MP camera for selfies. Also present is a massive 5000 mAh non-removable battery on the device. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo but the Android 9.0 Pie update is just around the corner.
The next device from Asus is the Zenfone Max M2. This device has slightly lower specifications than the Zenfone Max Pro M2. But they are still decent if you look at the price to performance ratio. The Zenfone Max M2 has a 6.2-inch screen which is HD+ instead of Full HD+. This device also has a notch and a similar aspect ratio of 19:9 but has a polycarbonate body.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and comes in 3 and 4GB RAM options. The smartphone has 32 and 64GB internal storage options too. This device also comes with dual rear cameras of 13MP + 2MP. The front camera is an 8MP one assisted by an LED flash. This device also runs Android 8.1 Oreo upgradeable to Android 9.0 Pie
As for pricing, the Zenfone Max M2 starts at Rs. 9999 and it goes up to Rs. 11999 for the 4/64GB variant. The Zefnone Max Pro M2 starts at Rs. 12999 and goes up to Rs. 16999 for the 6/64GB variant.
