Apple October 30 event

Apple has just announced a new October event recently to be held in New York City. At the event, the company will launch new hardware other than iPhones which were already released in the September event. Now, it is expected that this event will see the launch of new Apple iPad Pro, new MacBook Air as well as new Macs. However, it is also rumoured that this event will see the launch of Apple iPad Pro Lite. Nonetheless, we are here to give you all the information you need about this special event from Apple.

As mentioned earlier, this event will be held on October 30 at 10 AM EDT. Talking about the iPad Pro, the major change this year would be the removal of the home button from the new iPad. Yes, you read that right. Apple will launch a home button-less iPad Pro this year for the first time since its original version.

Coming to the Mac hardware from Apple, we expect to see new MacBook Air as well as MacBooks. This means that we will finally get an update to the OG MacBook Air. The current MacBook Air from Apple features a non-Retina display, no USB Type-C and massive bezels on all sides.

Hopefully, Apple will get rid of these bezels and launch a Retina display-powered new MacBook. However, the MacBook Air 13 inch whereas the 12 inch MacBook is expected to be merged into one. Therefore, it is likely that the new MacBook from Apple will be a 12-inch one rather than a 13-inch one.

Now, there is also the expectation of Apple launching new iMacs and Mac Mini. In terms of the launches, both the iMac as well as Mac Mini will have specification upgrades. But, we might see additional design changes on the Mac Mini as Apple is targeting the Mac Mini for professional usage.
