Google, Facebook will allow employees to work from home for the rest of 2020

Work from home

While the world is going through a pandemic right now, we know that the software companies such as Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft and others are allowing their employees to work from home. This also means that the work is going on as usual for them. However, we know that the situation of Coronavirus is spreading much quicker and expected and things are not looking good right now. This means companies will have to take precautions when they let their employees come to the offices once again.

Also, many are saying that the companies should start letting their employees in already with the use of proper social distancing as well as compulsory masks and gloves. However, we know that even that will not be enough to stop the spread of the virus and we will have to live with it for the time being. On the other hand, we have some great news from two of the major software companies, Google and Facebook. Both these companies have said that they will let their employees work from home for the rest of this year.

This means employees working at Google and Facebook are free to stay at home even after their offices open when that happens. We believe that this is a great way to encourage people to work from home since they will be free to not step outside and that will reduce the crowding at places. It will also be seen that the companies that force their employees to work from home are likely to catch the virus than those who are not.

Having said that, we already know that Google is known to be a very flexible company and they are famously known to have offices empty since their employees, a majority of them, already work from home. It is nice to see Facebook joining them in this good cause too.
