Pixel 3a launch

We have been hearing about Google’s plans of launching an upper mid-range Pixel smartphone. However, those are just the reports and we have never heard anything solid regarding that. However, that has definitely changed in the recent times. In the past few weeks, we have recieved solid evidence that the upper mid-range lineup of Pixel smartphones is coming. And that too, there will be two devices in this lineup.

Also, we have known about the supposed naming regarding this series. We expect Google to call its latest Pixel devices as the Pixel 3a series. This is because the devices will be lesser powered compared to the Pixel 3 series. In the Pixel 3a series, we expect to see the Pixel 3a and the 3a XL. Obviously, the Pixel 3a XL will be a bigger version of Pixel 3a with similar specifications.

Now that most of the information regarding Pixel 3a is available, we were waiting for its launch date. Now, we have received information regarding that too. However, this is not a rumor as we have been officially teased by Google. On its Store, Google has revealed that there is a new event scheduled for May 8. It is extremely likely that this event will see the launch of Pixel 3a series by Google.

Also, the Google Store page says that “something big is coming to the Pixel universe”. This is further evidence that the Pixel 3a series might launch at this event. However, we also get the feeling that Google has something more up its sleeve as well at the event. Earlier, we received rumors which said that Google is working on its Home Hub Max as well. So we might see this product being launched as well. Also, the event is in the US on the morning of May 8 so it should be by evening on May 7 according to Pacific Daylight Time.
