While we have seen most of the things regarding Google’s Pixel 4 smartphone, we know that Google will definitely have something up its sleeve when the phones are announced. Even if there is nothing left to be revealed, it will be interesting to see the price of Google’s next Pixel phones. However, we are going to see a lot more products at the October 15 Made By Google event according to 9to5Google. As far as the products are concerned, we expect to see the next version of Google Pixel Buds, Google’s AirPods competitors, at the event.

Now, a new report confirms that Google will also launch successors to its Google Wi-Fi system named as ‘Nest WiFi’. It looks like Google is committing to launch all its smart devices with the Nest lineup as ‘Google WiFi’ name will be changed to ‘Nest WiFi’. Apart from that, we will see the Nest WiFi system with in-built speakers which is unique for WiFi routers. The report also mentions that the beacons will be “Eero-esque that double as Assistant speakers”

This means that you can think of something like a 2.1 channel speaker system where there is a main speaker and then there are other Woofers. Similarly, the Nest WiFi will have a main router while the other beacons will work as extenders. However, Google’s Nest WiFi will also have some WiFi specific functionalities too such as to “pause internet in certain rooms or for specific devices”. Also, the Nest WiFi will be voice-controlled so that you can give commands with your speech too.

Also, the report mentions regarding cross-compatibility with Google WiFi too. They say that “Old Google Wifi hardware will be able to mix and match with the new”. To get more details, we will have to wait for the ‘Made by Google’ event scheduled for October 15 where the company will announce these products.
