Gsuite apps

One thing that has now become a running joke in the tech industry and fans of technology is regarding Google and messaging apps. You must have seen that Google has developed a whole load of messaging apps in the last few years and have also killed most of them.

For example, we can reference the likes of Google Allo, Google Hangouts as well as other apps that added chat functionality inside them has also been killed. Therefore, people have started to say that Google has a plan to make a messaging app every year and then kill it two years later.

Nonetheless, we know that Google makes some great apps and services but it has not figured out a way to make its messaging apps work and that is a fact. However, we do hope that this latest report regarding Google’s new messaging app brings success to them.

As per this report, Google is building a new all-in-one messaging app which will not be for normal users but rather for Gsuite users. This also means that Google is planning to launch a competitor against the apps such as Slack which has been around for a long time and Microsoft’s Teams app which is giving stiff competition to Slack.

We don’t know what the name of this new app from Google will be but one thing is that it will integrate apps such as Google Meet, Google Voice as well as Hangouts for business and others. The app will also integrate Gmail and Google Drive so that you can attach your mails and files inside the messages.

This is also similar to Apple’s iMessage which integrates every service by Apple but is available for consumers and not necessarily for business users. The said app by Google is already being tested and we might see it get launched soon.
