Google is going to release a lot of new products very soon and most of us are waiting to see the Pixel 4 series of smartphones. However, there are more products which Google will unveil at this October 15 event which can’t come soon enough. You must be aware that Google also releases laptops powered by Chrome OS every year. Therefore, we are going to see a new laptop from Google in its Chromebook series powered by their own desktop OS. But the name will be tweaked this time and Google’s Pixelbook lineup will be named as Pixelbook Go this time.

We believe that the Pixelbook Go will be named so because it will be pitched as a laptop you can use on-the-go. Apart from that, there were no details so far about this new laptop from Google until now. But 9to5Google has one of the Google Pixelbook Go prototypes in their hands and they have leaked it in full. So we can see everything that the new laptop has to offer a few days before the official announcement. Also, this is is believed to be a prototype but it is working and runs Chrome OS as well as reveals most of the internals too.

So we have come to know that the device will have either a Core m3, i5 or i7 processor along with 4GB, 8GB of 16GB of RAM. Apart from that, you will get an SSD with a capacity of 128GB, 256GB or 512GB in capacity. We believe that the top-end variant of Google’s Pixelbook Go should fly in daily usage since Chrome OS is not memory-intensive and we know the power of Intel’s Core i7 and SSD. Talking about the looks, it has a “washboard” design on the bottom which is to give a better grip on the desk. Also, the front of this laptop has a matte finish and the publication received a coral prototype.
