Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is on a roll in India from past few years. We already know that there are a host of smartphones launching from the company every month. These include the Honor 8x, Honor 8c and more smartphones from Honor. However, the company also launches a smartwatch cum fitness band every year. This is part of the Honor Band series from the company. Last year, Honor announced the Honor Band 3 post the launch of Xiaomi Mi Band 2. It has to be said that Mi Band 2 won last year’s battle.

Once again, Honor has launched their smartwatch after Xiaomi. Honor launched their Band 4 in India yesterday. It is already known that Xiaomi’s Mi Band 3 launched in India. The interesting thing, however, is that Mi Band 3 is priced lower than Honor’s smart band. The Honor Band 4 is launched in India at Rs. 2599. The Mi Band 3, on the other hand, is sold for Rs. 1999. One thing in common is that both the smartwatches are available exclusively on Amazon India.

Coming to the specifications of Honor Band 4, it has even more features than Mi Band 3. Honor Band 4 has a 0.95-inch display which is an AMOLED one. Along with that, it has a dual-colour band strap. There are five colour options for band strap of Honor Band 4. These colours are yellow, blue, green, red and pink.

Honor claims that Honor Band 4 comes with better sleep tracking, a tracker for swim strokes and a new foot mode. With the foot mode, you have to attach the band to the shoe buckle. Foot mode will enable a more accurate reading of your running as it will track the data like foot strike pattern, impact, swing angle step length and so on. The new Honor band promises to deliver 2 weeks of regular use and 21 days standby time on a single charge.
