There is one more midrange smartphone entering the overcrowded lineup of smartphones in India. This time, the smartphone is from none other than Honor. Honor India has just launched their latest smartphone named the Honor 8C. As far as the Honor 8C is concerned, it is the successor to Honor 7C. Also, the Honor 8C is a slightly lower priced variant of the Honor 8X. The Honor 8C from Huawei also contains the Snapdragon 632 processor rather than the Kirin SoC

In terms of specifications, the Honor 8C has a 6.26″ HD+ LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Along with that, the Honor 8C display has a 1520 x 720 pixels resolution. The internals of the Honor 8C contains 4GB RAM and 32GB storage which can go up to 64GB for the top variant. However, this internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. On the back of Honor 8C, there is a dual rear camera with a primary camera of 13MP and a secondary camera of 2MP.

The device has a single 8MP camera on the front which has LED flash too. Apart from this, the Honor 8C has a massive 4000 mAh non-removable as well. On the software side of things, Honor 8C has been powered with Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2. The camera on Honor 8C is capable enough to recognise over 500 scenarios in 22 different categories. Both the front and back cameras of the Honor 8C have AI functionalities as well.

The smartphone has been priced in India starting at Rs. 11999 for the base variant. The price goes all the way up to Rs. 12999 for the top variant which is an understandable increase.
